About me

I write, make graphics, and analyze data for the New York Times Upshot as part of the 2024-25 Fellowship Class. I cover politics, sports, pop culture and more. Next year, I’ll be starting my Ph.D. in Political Science at MIT. Broadly, I’m interested in the intersection between political science, public policy, and statistical and computational methods.

I graduated from Boston University in 2024 with a B.A. in Computer Science and Statistics and a minor in Public Policy Analysis. I’ve interned for data science research groups, a civic tech startup, and a baseball team. I am also the founder and technical director of Umpire Scorecards.

My brother Noah is a Ph.D. student in theoretical computer science at Carnegie Mellon University.
